Laoküla Beach (1,7 km)
Due to narrow sand bar not the best option for swimming, but ideal for evening walks among junipers.
Yes, the end part of Alan Walker superhit Faded was filmed here.
Paldiski City (6,7 km)
In a good way, one of the strangest cities in Estonia. Here are 3 bigger food stores, 3 churches and 3 places to eat.
You could also visit Central square, Muula Hills and A. Adamson museum A. Adamsoni muuseumi.
Leetse beach (7,1 km)
Quiet sandy beach at the opposite side of Pakri peninsula. Our 1st choice for swimming around here. Eastern winds bring warm water.
There are also many official camping places.
Pakri cliff and lighthouse (10,7 km)
Most famous landmark around here. Walk along the edge and descend under the cliff (wooden stairs 1 km before light house). At the the top of lighthouse you`ll get the best views.
Pakri Islands (3,8 km)
Unique place for hiking and discovering by rental bike. Small ships leave from Paldiski South Harbor and Kurkse. Book ahead!
Harju-Madise church (4,6 km)
A church situated only 500 m from the sea is also a lighthouse.
Pakri ATV Safari (5,7 km)
Good chance to explore the nature of Pakri peninsula from different angle. Instructed ATV hikes take 1-3 hrs.
Soodajärv (11,6 km)
Small forest lake with water lilys and lake shells. You get there from Paldiski road or the train station in Klooga-Aedlinn.
At close by there is Klooga Holokausti Memoriaal
Kloogaranna Beach (10,6 km)
The biggest and most developed sandy beach around here. It might get crowded but there is enough room for everyone.
Possible to visit by train.
Treppoja cascade (13,6 tk)
On your way to Laulasmaa or further on, make a stop after Treppoja store. Cascade is very close to the road.
Laulasmaa SPA water park (17,6 km)
Several pools, saunas and jacuzzis. Might be overcrowded during weekends.
Arvo Pärdi Keskus (18,2 km)
Estonian composer Arvo Pärt personal archive and meeting place for all interested in his music and thought-world.
Klooga lake (13 km)
When the seawater is still cold at the beginning of summer, you can already swim in Klooga lake. There is a small man made sandy beach and pier. Easy to get there by train.
Niitvälja Golf (18,3 km)
The oldest golf course in the Baltics doesn`t need an introduction. Again, you can easily take a train there.
Keila-Joa park and castle (23,7 km)
Most picturesque park in Northern Estonia. A waterfall, idyllic forest paths and fully renovated castle.

Rummu Quarry (15,3 km)
Unique combination of crystal clear lake, dramatic hill and excursion in former prison. During summer season water park and water wheel rent is available.
Padise Monastery (14,3 km)
Built in 14th century, it is the only Cistercian Monastery in Northern Europe. Rich history meets beautiful nature!
Tänavjärv (34,7 km)
One of a kind bog lake with sandy beach in the middle of the forest. Not very easy to get there, but this place is worth the effort. Especially during the sunset.
Veskijärv (48,2 km)
An area with beautiful and unique nature. Former sand quarry, lake, official campsites and hiking trail.
At the end point of Veskijärve road you can take a hike to Western coast of Tänavjärve and Mustjärve.
Peraküla (51 km)
It is a longer drive, but once already close, worth a visit. One of the most impressive sandy beaches in continent Estonia, lakes with swimming piers and hiking trails.
Tallinn Old Town by train (52 mins)
When was your last train ride? Fun and convenient way to visit Nõmme, Old Town, Tellisikivi creative city and food market in Balti Jaam. Laoküla Train station is 600 m away at the end of dead end Jaama road.
